Ghetto Street Funk - Parental Advisory

Ghetto Street Funk

Parental Advisory

1993

Organized Production

What came before OutKast, or as they were know then as Out' Kast? hmmm....I PROUDLY PRESENT PARENTAL ADVISORY AKA P.A.!!!!!!!!! This album is a hard to find, (outside of Atlanta) classic, southern, rap group who paved the way for the future Dungeon Family who you already know im obessed with. Lol. Anyways the three Rappers Mello, Big Reese, and K-P (who even had diffrent names during this album, but those are the names i call them) made a dark and eerie start to Atlanta's hip=hop scene but its mos def an album to at least listen to, and its one of my favorites!!!

1. Strictly Butcher

This is an amazing title track with a crazy chorus and a tight beat that sounds alittle East Coast influenced...most of the album is for that matter. SWING SWING SWING AND CHOP CHOP CHOP lol!

2. Da Boom

Another great track, i love the beat and hook, the verses dont really amazes me but its overall good.

3. Lifeline Remix

I really like Mello's verse on this track (the first one), and i am impressed with these lyrics. Its a OK track not my favorite but ok.

4. Bullshit

interlude.......

5. Maniac

Shoutout to Dungeon fam in this track! This is a really good track for the album and most people who've heard it agree. Its kinda funny how alot of there rhymes consist of nursrey rhyme type shit, sorta funny when there subject matter is alittle bit darker than the average rapper.

6. 3B (BB?)

For some reason this track is called 3B and its called BB on my computer? i dont know but it means Black and Broke. Mello has become my favorite memeber through this review just listening to his verse closer lol. Its almost a comical look at racism...which is a whole diffrent spectrum as funny. 66 MELLO!!

7. Sex in da Morning

Kinda short but not bad. I dont really like this outside Mellos verse (lol). Dont skip it even though i didnt say much about it.

8. Ghetto Break

interlude...with a verse by mello that im hoping is a free style because i cant stand it lol no hate though

9. Ghetto Head Hunta

BEST FUCKING TRACK ON THE ALBUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Every verse on this track comes hard as hell, this is real southern rap..."I beat u down and crack ur face in a milisecond" - mello !!!!!!! This song gets me fucking amped espicially the last verse dammmmmm lol

10. Let Loose the Lingo

I heard this track on a mix once before i heard the whole album and its not bad but no my favorite, i really only like the hook.

11. Manifest

Love it! The intro is tight as hell! Probably my second favorite!

12. Milk

Another good one! The title kinda confuses me lol but i like mello's verse lol

13. Reyes Not Fall

Big Reeses verse in this one impresses me! Its not one of my favorites...seems sorta random...

14. Da End

outro...

Where to get it: Online is a good place. I got lucky my friend sold it to me but other than that u may have a had time locating it espicially if you dont live in Atlanta or the Atlanta Area, or let alone Georgia at all! DONT PIRATE IT!!!!
